Sonshine Kids Bible study

Sonshine Kids is our children's ministry for children from first grade through fifth grade. For children in this age range, we also offer age-appropriate Sunday school lessons from 9:00-10:00am on Sundays.

Sonshine Kids Worship

On the first Sunday of every month, we require these children to remain in the worship service for the duration of the service. We believe this helps to train them and to prepare them when they transition to the worship service when they age out of children's ministry. On the other Sundays (2nd, 3rd, 4th, and whenever there's a 5th Sunday), we offer what we call "Sonshine Kids Worship." On these Sundays, the children stay in the worship center until immediately after the offering has been collected, and then they are dismissed to go to Sonshine Kids Worship. The Sonshine Kids worship service is designed to be fun, engaging, and high-energy.  During this time, children learn to worship God with the help of object lessons, songs, skits, dramas, puppets, videos, special effects, games, and much more! Sonshine Kids Worship takes place in our Chapel, and parents are asked to go pick up their children immediately after the worship service ends.

Fun Nights

Our Sonshine Kids also have a monthly "fun night" (usually on the first Saturday of the month). This fun night usually takes place at the church, but sometimes it is held at different locations.

BAPTISM

We treat the baptism of children with special care and want to help parents walk through the process with their children. If your child expresses interest in baptism, please set up an interview with our pastoral staff so we can help you determine the next steps. You can email Pastor Brian at .
